Stop Fighting With Your Heating Lamps
Let’s be honest: nobody likes it when a machine goes down because of a burnt-out lamp, and it’s even worse when you find out the OEM replacement has a six-week lead time. That’s why we built our infrared lamps to just work. Whether you’re running SIPA machines or other global blow molding gear, our lamps are designed to slide right in. No modifications, no headaches, and definitely no brand barriers. Getting the heat right If you’ve spent any time on a production floor, you know the struggle of wall thickness variation. It’s a pain. To fix that, we use shortwave infrared technology to get the heat in fast and keep it uniform. Depending on your power rail, we offer 230V or 400V options. A 2500W tube puts out a massive amount of energy—which is great for your cycle times—but just a heads-up: make sure your cooling fans are up to the task. You don’t want your oven turning into a sauna. Built to actually last We didn’t want to make a lamp that bows or warps the moment things get hot, so we used heavy-wall quartz glass. We also added a halogen gas fill. Why? Because it keeps the filament from burning out nearly as fast as the cheap stuff. As for the plugs, we stick to R7s and Sk15 connectors. Since about 95% of the world’s OEMs use these, you can forget about rewiring your sockets. You just swap the lamp and get back to work. Real-world production Preform ovens are brutal environments. To handle the heat, we apply a special coating to the quartz. This helps the heat soak deep into the PET plastic instead of just scorching the surface. It saves you from that annoying “pearlescence” or those burnt-looking outer skins. The best part? Installation is a breeze. Pull the old tube out, slide ours in, lock the connector, and you’re done. Plus, we keep these in stock. You can stop waiting on the OEM and start producing again.
