The Power Behind the Heat
Here’s the setup: 400V, 2500W, packed into a 300mm tube. That power density gives you the punch you need for a fast warm-up—without taking up a ton of space. And the short length keeps the heat concentrated on what matters, instead of spilling into the room. In short, you get serious heat in a small footprint—exactly what you need when you have to hit a setpoint quickly and hold it steady.
What It’s Made Of
Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz envelope that runs hot and stable. We added a specialized coating to shape the spectral output and protect the element. And because it’s low thermal mass, the lamp stores very little heat. That means it responds the instant you change the input—no lag, no fuss. For the connection, we chose an R7s connector. It’s a solid, two-terminal setup that handles the current without creating hot spots, and it makes replacement a straightforward, drop-in job.
Where It Shines (And What To Keep In Mind)
In buffet stations and other food-service setups, you need heat on demand—not after a long ramp-up. This IR lamp responds quickly, so you can control temperatures with precision and maintain holding heat without overshooting. The compact design and R7s interface make wiring and replacement simple, so downtime stays short. One practical note: with 2500W, you’ll need a properly rated circuit and enough ventilation.
